Hello, my name is Deane Saunders which for purposes of Viking re-enactment I've translated to Dalur Eskilsson (Dalur comes from valley - one of the meanings of Deane - my father's name is Ashley which translates as Eskiló in Icelandic). I'm also known on the internet in various games and forums as Rexx Magnus.
I've been doing re-enactment since 2000 - started off with medieval period and now branching out into Viking.
I'm usually occupied with playing music (flute, harp & lyre) and doing rune readings for the public. I've made all of my own kit except for a couple of items that I had to purchase (sword, fur and small metal items), including a lyre and a viking a-frame tent.
